Water level perhaps. When you hit the accelerator the water volume increases. Check your water level and make sure that your thermostat is opening and closing properly. Water level I'm thinking

Open the radiator cap...when it is not hot. The radiator, this at the very front of the engine and has two electric fans attached to it on the engine side covered by a shroud. Take the radiator cap off and check the antifreeze level. If it is low, add water or antifreeze. Once you top it off, close the radiator cap and follow the little black hose over to the coolant resevoir. There is a line on this resevoir indicating the proper level of coolant with the engine hot and cold. Since you are checking it when it is not hot, fill it to the proper level. If this isn't the problem let me know and we'll go to step 2. Also, check to see if the temperature gauge on the dashboard goes up near the 12 oclock postition or does it stay down at the 8 and 9 postition.

Why would the sound of water flowing through a tube happen when we start to accelorate?

The sloshing noise may be caused from air in the cooling system.

If there's air in the system, it ends up in the heater core because it's the highest point in the cooling system. When you accelerate, the water pump spins faster pushing coolant into the heater core forcing the air out causing the sloshing noise.

To remove any air from the cooling system, get the engine up to operating temperature. With the engine idling loosen the upper radiator hose clamp. take a small flat bladed screwdriver and slip it between the upper radiator hose and the radiator hose neck. Allow the engine to idle until all that comes out from the radiator hose is coolant. Retighten the hose clamp.

oneor two things low coolant in radiator or poor flow through heater core . if motor is at normal running temp. and coolant full , then heater core needs flushed, check coolant in radiator first....

2005 jeep liberty blows cold air through the heater.

could be the thermostat if it was just stating to go bad, could also be a vacume problem not letting the door for the ac/heat close all the way for a few min.and if its really cold out like below 35,then its going to take longer to warm up,my jeep takes like around 20 min at idle to warm up.yours could be a case of over cooling in cold weather too ie(electric fans on before it warms up)that would be the thermostatic sensor.

My 2004 jeep Liberty would blow air this morning but not heated air, once i accelerated the vehicle the blower air turned to hot. Also recently you could hear a water moving noise momentarily when you...

That's not good! Are you finding puddles under the vehicle, or is your passenger side carpet wet? Is there any odor to the air. If any of this is yes, your heater core may be going out.

My 2003 Jeep Liberty Limited Edition blows out cold air while im stopped at a light or stop sign or whatever. But as I drive it will blow out warm air!! Can someone please help me with this problem!!!!

Yea, theres an air bubble in your coolant system. Check your coolant level, and top off the fluids.

When your jeep is going down the road the water pump is cycling the coolant, but when you are idling there isnt enough spin on the water pump to push enough coolant to compensate for the air in the system

Heater core on a 2003 jeep liberty limited

sound like th efan is not working, not the heater, acceleration cause the air to move through the vent, so if the fan is not working, there is nothing to move the air, even the heater is working.

02 Liberty having cold flashes!

1st check the coolant level. If it's low, it won't circulate thru heater core, and result is little or no heat. Let me know what u find, we can continue.
