There are 2 nuts at top of headlight..Loosen those, also remove plastic push in tabs from grill...after that You will need to pry the headlamp out.It will take a few mins.!! Do not repalce the bulbs w/ those "Blue" bulbs they last all of 2 months,Because of the daytime running lights. It takes the life out of the bulb cause they run hotter!

There is a ring on the back of the headlamp where the wires are connected to the bulb. you will need to twist it (it may seem like it does not twist but it will). once you do that you can then slide the buble assembly out and replace the bulb. And dont worry about which bulb you replace them with.

It simple there are 2 bolts near the top of the headlight. I believe they are 10mm. Once you have those out you'll need to pull out the pop-in studs in the grill. Use a flat head screwdriver. then just pull a little they should pop right out

2006 chevy cobalt LT. the key is stuck

Have you tried shifting the gears completely through and then putting the car in park. It sounds like the car isn't able to be put completely in park to release the key. Try putting the car in N and removing the key. Even thought the car may not completely be in park to release the key, The gear most likely is in park but not enough to make the switch/sensor to release.

I need to change my headlight to my 2006 chevy cobalt. How do I do it?

open the hood and unscrew and unplug the bulb, make sure not to touch the glass on the new bulb. your best bet if you have never done this sort of thing is to have someone else do it. most shops only charge $10-$15 to do it.

I cant turn the headlight counter clockwise to get the old light out of the 2006 chevy cobalt

Try pushing the socket in and then turning it counterclockwise. Some of them sockets have a notch it catches on so you push it in and turn a 1/4 turn or so and then you can get it out.

Good Luck

How to adjust headlights on 2006 chevy cobalt

There will be adjustment screws located on at least two different spots surrounding each headlamp. By turning these screws you move the angle of the headlamp. Most shops will do this at a very resonable rate, I say this because improper headlamp angle may lead to a ticket, or at least a warning. To say the least, they have to be at specific angles and heights. Good luck.
