If the dome lights on your 2007 Hyundai Tucson do not come on when the driver's side or passenger doors are open, but they do work when you press the interior dome light buttons, there are a few things you can check to try to determine the cause of the issue:
Check the door switches: Make sure that the door switches, which are located on the inside of the doors, are working properly. If the switch is not working, it will not send a signal to the dome light to turn on when the door is opened.
Check the wiring: Check the wiring that connects the door switches to the dome light. Make sure that the wiring is not damaged or corroded, and that all connections are tight.
Check the dome light fuse: Check the fuse for the dome light in the vehicle's fuse box. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new one of the same amperage.
Check the BCM(Body Control Module): The Body Control Module controls the door switches and the dome light. Make sure that the BCM is not malfunctioning.
Check the Sunroof switch: Make sure that the sunroof switch is not malfunctioning, sometimes that switch is used to turn on the dome light, if the switch is not working the dome light will not turn on.
It's important to have a professional technician to diagnose the issue and confirm what the problem is before trying to fix it. If you're not comfortable with troubleshooting the issue yourself, it's best to contact Hyundai dealership or a mechanic for further assistance. https://amzn.to/3XfuL5A

Also most vehicles will have a delayed acc relay to keep the radio on when the key is turned off & when you open either front door it will go off, if the switches are good,as well as turn on the dome light
The fuse box is located under the dash on the driver's side of the vehicle, just to the left of the steering column. You can see the fuse numbers on the fuse cover. Dome light fuse is #F9.
Are you sure that the thumb wheel switch beside the headlamp switch is not turned all the way up until it clicks?
If it is staying on for 10 minutes this means that the smart junction box is seeing a demand for the interior lights from something like a door ajar switch or the thumb wheel. If it sees that the igntion is in the off position it will turn the lights off after 10 minutes to conserve battery power.
Normal operation is:
The interior lighting delay feature provides temporary illumination of the courtesy lamps after the doors are opened and then closed. The interior lighting delay feature keeps the courtesy lamps on for a period of 25 seconds after all the doors are closed. If during the 25-second delay time the SJB detects that the ignition has been switched out of off, or if the vehicle is locked using the RKE, the courtesy lamp illumination is discontinued
