Hi,
I live in maryland, just 2 days ago we had a sleet storm which iced over everything badly overnight. The morning after, I got into my car, heated up the window and when I "thought" it was okay to turn on the windshield wipers I did. Because there was still ice on the window, only one worked, I chalked it up to the other one being (still) frozen under ice. Let me add that they both worked perfectly for years prior to this. Now, the passenger side windshield appears to be sticking up or out at the base. The other wiper (not sticking up) works just fine. So far I know it is "not" a electrical circuit switch problem because if it was, they both would not be working .... instead it's just the one .... PLEASE HELP .... thank you in advance for your answer.

Try this thread it may help - http://www.helpowl.com/a/Toyota/2008-Highlander/Research/5115?search=2008%20toyota%20highlander%20vsc%20check%20engine%20light
Usually the sign of a bad fuel pump check valve that allows fuel pressure to bleed off over night. Try this in the morning. Turn the key to ON for 2-secs, then OFF. Repeat 3 times. Then try to start. If it starts right up, you need a new fuel pump. By turning the key on and off you're filling the fuel lines and building pressure that you lost overnight.
The valve guides in the cylinder head are probably worn, allowing oil to seep into the cylinders overnight and burn off when you start up in the morning. That is why you're loosing oil, it's being burned off.
if the fan is not blowing its probably bad connection at the motor remove fan cover check connection.
No heat check coolant level.maybe thermostats bad, faulty radiator or water pump
If the starter cranks but the engine won't start, there could be wide range of problems. Here are some of the most common: - Problems with fuel delivery system (e.g bad fuel pump, fuel pump relay, clogged fuel screen, etc.) - Problem with engine electronics (e.g crank sensor, cam sensor, air flow sensor, power relay, engine computer, etc.) - Ignition system problems, especially on older vehicles with the distributor (e.g bad ignition coil, commutator, rotor, distributor cap, etc.) - Defective ignition switch - Problems with vehicle security system - Internal engine problems (e.g broken timing belt or gear, low compression, etc.)
Make sure that you have fuel in the tank. It may be that your vehicle fuel gauge isn't working properly. The first signs that there is too little fuel in the tank are occasional lugging, loss of power, and a louder, irregular sound of the electric fuel pump coming out from the fuel tank
