Please take a code check , it is possible that the timing is incorrect or the fuel pressure is offset.
Make sure that the vehicle had undergone the regular check ups in the said mileage clocked. If not you must attend to the company specified routine service schedule.
Engine oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter,timing belts,fuel pressure, code checks, etc..,.
Because it has a rev limiter. this is so you dont blow the engine up

I believe you are still out of timing. pretty close, but not there yet. review all the steps.

Sounds like a bad chip in the computer. Or the crank senser.
