It's preety involved and you will need several special tools. You will need a steering wheel puller, a lock ring compressor, torx screwdrivers and a good bit of paicence. There are alot of little pieces and srings and clips and it is alot of steps. I can't list it step by step here from memory but if you want to tackle this your self I suggest you pick-up a chiltons manual when you buy the new part...and the tools.

Ive tried to replace my ignition switch on my 1993 buick regal.I got around buying a steering wheel puller by using force and wiggling it from side to side and up and down.It came off.Got all the way down to a square black like box and didnt know how to remove it.I heard there was another screw that holds that box on..Still stuck on it..How does that come off?

Where is the Pass lock sensor on a 02 Buick Regal LS? Thanks

They are all at the lock cylinder. If you have a resistor chip on the shaft of your key, the sensor is at the top of they lock cylinder itself. If you do not have a chip on the key but have the larger key head, then you will have a halo sensor around the lock cylinder.

Remove key from buick regal 2000

Wiggle the steering wheel back and forth while trying to remove the key, if that doesn't work try tapping the lock cylinder area with a hammer handle to free up any sticking lock cylinder pins.

I have a 93 buick regal but my front doors & rear

Well, the mirrors would be on the circuit with the courtesy lights. The door locks and windows would be on different circuits.
Why can't you unlock the driver's or passenger door with the key and open it with the door handle ?

Buy a new cylinder, put old chip key in cylinder, now plug into the connecter and hide under dash. Start car with with second or duiplicate key. Or measure the resistance in chip on key and get a resistor from radio shack and connect it to wire that plugs in to lock cylinder

My 1996 buick regal will not start

Yes, I can tell you how to bypass it, but it is easier to just replace the ignition lock cylinder. That is what is bad.
