I have a 2002 gmc sonoma 4.3 v6 45000 miles. Turns over but won't start. Changed camshaft position sensor and crankshaft sensor. Can't afford to take to a shop. Code p0014.

this code refers to cam shaft timing. if the connections are good with the sensor and readings are good when tested with a volt and ammeter then the cam timing maybe be off what it should be. it could also be the ECM causing a problem.

On my 2002 nissan altima it won't go in gear by pushing the clutch but if I cut the car off and put it in first gear and crank it it lurches forward what could be causing this and why won't my car go into...

When your engine is running at say 1200 rpm, the transmission is at zero speed with the clutch depressed. When you engage the clutch the first gear is still at zero speed trying to engage with a 1200 rpm crankshaft. In a normal transmission, they have a "synchronizer" which speeds up the gear to match the speed of the crankshaft so the gears mesh smoothly.
When you turn off your engine, the crankshaft is at zero rpm so it can go into gear with the zero rpm transmission. Bottom line...you have a problem with your synchronizer on your transmission. If you are lucky...a transmission shop could fix it without an overhall. But it needs to be diagnosed because it doesn't sound good.

2005 santa fe serpentine broke then bad vibrating and it died replaced serpentine and tensionor, now motor locked. Is the motor shot or could something else be wrong?

Put a socket and wrench on the crankshaft pulley bolt, and see if you can turn the crankshaft-clockwise. If the crank won't turn, something internal is bad. If you can turn the crankshaft normally, check that another pulley has seized.
Or try it this way: take the serpentine belt back off and see if the starter can spin the crankshaft. If it does, look for a seized pulley. If a good battery cannot make the starter turn the crankshaft, likely the motor is shot.

Timing belt will not tur all other belts ar all other belts are turning

It must be broke, if the crankshaft is turning all the other belts, but not the timing belt. Pull off the timing belt cover to investigate. If the belt is good, maybe the woodruff key for the crankshaft sprocket has fell out. You would see the crankshaft turning, but not the crankshaft sprocket that turns the timing belt-if that were the case.

2001 daewoo leganza stalled

Check the Start/Run relay under the hood in the relay box. You can test it by switching it with another relay with the same part number that serves no vital function, like a defrost or door lock relay. If it starts, you fixed it with a $6 part. If not, try turning the crankshaft manually with a large crescent wrench or socket, whichever allows easier access. If you have a long-ish piece of pipe lying around, you can use it for extra leverage. If the crankshaft will not turn manually, you may have a seized engine, not always a death sentence (but often). Unless you are a major gearhead, a seized engine should be taken to a Reputable shop for evaluation. If the engine turns, you're most likely still going to have to see a mechanic to trace down a possible electrical or computer problem. Anytime you take a car in for diagnosis, it is your duty to research the reputation of that shop or run the risk of paying for repairs that were not needed, or hours of parts-swapping until they find the problem. Good luck.

Spark...no spark...spark ... no spark why??

Because your problem is intermittent it is very difficult to diagnose. This is the classic take it to the shop and the problem goes away till you drive it home again. I would start with checking for loose connections, you would need an electrical diagram to see how the ignition is actuated. Is there a crankshaft or flywheel sensor? Is the cap and rotor good. A common Ford problem is the ignition module it wouldn't hurt to change it (around $30) With intermittent problem sometimes you just start changing the most obvious/cheap parts and work your way up the food chain. Good luck!

Battery turns over strong c ranks good cold but won't start hot

I promise that this problem is your crankshaft position sensor, replace it. I've seen this problem many many times, it's very common. It's a pain to change at home because of it's location, but pretty easy for a shop. We charge about an hour to do it, the sensor is about 65 bucks.

How do u fix a timing belt and water pump on 95 camry

You have to remove from the front of the engine the serpentine belts, crankshaft dampner ,timing belt covers and drain the coolant.
Install the dampner bolt back on --( may have to use a spacer so as not to bottom out the bolt in the crankshaft ) then turn the engine till the the timing marks are lined up-- that's is crankshaft to mark on the oil pump housing and the camshaft marks to the head.
Then loosen the Timing belt tensioner, remove the belt and then the water pump.
Re-install in back order.
You can get a shop manual for your car from your local library,
Good Luck.
PS: if the old timing belt is striped or torn ,then you have to turn the crankshaft and camshaft individually to line them up the timing marks before you slip on the new belt..

2002 dodge stratus crankshaft sensor location?

The crankshaft or the shankcraft as we refer to it is inside the engine, it turns over the pistons. Never heard of such an animal. You may have a fuel pump going out, clogged fuel filter, fuel injectors, Idle air control valve going out, bad plugs, plug wires or distributors. Just began checking them one at a time.
