Very, very gently. Remove the blanking panel from the lower left corner first. Utilise this recess to hold the panel and remove genly clip by clip.

I eased the top of the panel out and the rest of the clips came loose easily.

How do i reset the timing belt light for 2005 toyota hiace with analog speedo?

The computer probably needs to reset to clear the code. Best way is go to Auto Zone or Advance Auto and ask them to reset the comupter. It can be done by disconnecting the negative battery cable from the battery, but then you may have problems with the security system, and you can loose stored info in your radio, etc.So I suggest you have the computer cleared of codes.

Removing dash of 2003 camry to replace radio

If your dash has not been modified by whomever installed the aftermarket radio, it should go like this:

Using a flat screwdriver, gently pry the bottom edge of the air conditioner control assembly to disengage the clips (there are 6 of them). Pull the control assebly out and disconnect the electrical connectors and set aside.

Remove the 4 bolts on the lower edge of the radio finish panel located under where the air conditioner assembly was located. Pry around the edges of the radio finish panel to disengage the 5 clips (two on either side and one at the top center) The finish panel and radio assembly will then pull out of the dash so the electrical connectors can be disconnected and the radio removed (again, this is providing that no modifications have been made).

Hopefully, you will find the vehicle wiring harnesses and radio mountings still intact. Many times, aftermarket radio installers will cut and splice several of the wires from the original radio connectors, And modify the mountings to accomodate a radio that was not made to fit the vehicle, making it necessary to repair the wiring harnesses and/or mountings before an original-type radio can be reinstalled.

1999 Toyota Land Cruiser Stereo Removal

I solved this issue by using a miniature ~6" Teflon coated crowbar/nail puller, and pried around the edge of the trim until the "catches", which held the trim in place slowly released.
At that point I was able to pull the trim off.2260598.jpg

Toyota Land Cruiser check timimg Belt

Hi,

I am assuming that you have a series 80 diesel engine and that it has run for about 100,000 kms hence the warning light and the changing of the timing belt. Based on the instructions of its repair manual you need to "remove the grommet off from the speedometer and turn off the lamp by pushing the warning light reset switch, then replace the grommet." Alternately, you can try to reset the entire computer of the vehicle by removing the battery cables for a couple of minutes. Pls note that some car radios/head units would revert to security default (ask for a code) when power is completely removed.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
