Bank 1 is always the same side as the number one cylinder. Bank 2 is the other side of the engine. Sensor 1 is always before the catalytic converter and Sensor 2 is always after the catalytic converter.

If you have a 3.4 liter V-6 the #1 cylinder is on the passenger side. If you have the 4.7 liter V-8 the #1 cylinder is on the drivers side.

SOURCE: Where is O2 sensor circut bank1 sensor 2. And bank

Bank 2, sensor 2 is at the bottom of the engine as you look in from the bumper. It is installed in the exhaust pipe just below the catalytic converter. The bank 1, sensor 2 is at the same location on the back of the engine below the firewall.

Where is O2 oxygen sensor Bank 1 sensor on acura cl

this is how it goes, this car all depending on the engine size can have 2 or3 or 4 sensors,

sensors are labeled bank 1 sensor 1 or bank 1 sensor 2 and then bank 2 sensor 1 or bank 2 sensor 2.

sensor 1 on either bank is the front sensor before converter closest to engine.
sensor 2 either bank would be the rear sensors after the converter.
bank means which side of the engine,

bank 1 is the side in which the # 1 cylinder is on,
For example a 4 cylinder engine would have the bank1 sensor 1 on the top of the exhaust before the converter and bank1 sensor 2 would be down on the exhaust after converter. it may not have a bank 2. but newer 4cyl are starting to have bank 2

A v-6 engine would have 4 o2 sensors with same concept except one on each side of engine and then one at rear unless using two converters then one after each converter.

if you do not understand this then tell me year, make model and engine size and the complete code like bank 1 senser1 and i will tell you exactly where it is. good day.

Where is sensor1 bank1 o2 sensor on a 95 avalon

Bank refers to the side of the engine. Bank1 is always the same side as the number one cylinder. Bank 2 is always the other side of the motor on a v-6 or v-8

Sensor refers to before or after the catalytic converter. Sensor 1 is always before the cat. sensor 2 is always after the cat.

Bank1 sensor 1 on your vehicle - since the number one cylinder is on the backside of the motor closest to the firewall the B1S1 - O2 would be in the exhaust manifold on the back side of the engine before the catalytic converter.

Where is bank1 and bank 2 located on a lincoln LS?

On all cars, the bank 1 is where the first piston is...Your firing order on that car which is the first piston...Buy a chilton or a repair manual for your car and it will tell you which firing order your motor has....Its usually on the right hand side...Passenger side...Rule of thumb if you look at the spark plugs the one closest too you is usually the first piston....Bank 1 is located on the same side as the first piston...I hope this helps...

Location of o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1, code p0135

Bank 1 is always the same side of the motor as the number one cylinder. Bank two is the other side.

Sensor 1 is always before the cat. Sensor 2 is always after the cat.

Since that year only has one O2 before the cat it would be called bank1 sensor 1. It is located before the cat in the exhaust manifold on the back side of the engine (firewall side).

I do not have a diagram but, bank 1 is the bank where #1 cylinder is at. other side would be bank #2. so bank #1 o2 sensor is just before convertor.
