Fog light I own a 2004 maxima se, and recently I turned my fog lights on to find out that the passenger side was not on. First thing i did was check the fuses, they are good, then removed the bulb it is still good aswell, then used a test light to see if there was power going to and there is , wondering if maybe it could be a ground problem, because a few times before it didn't come on, then I would tap the headlamp and it would come on, now I get nothing, and if it is a ground how do I know what to look for to fix it, hopefully you can me,,thank you very much GREG

I recently bought a 2004 nissan maxima. For somme reason the fog lights do not work. I checked the fuses an they are fine. THe bulbs also look good, but is it possible they are bad anyways? I thought they last a long time on the xenon headlights..Is there any specific things to know when changing the fog light bulbs? thanks for the help, Craig

Replace the bulb. It may look good but its NOT. See it all the time with Maxima fog lamps.

I have a eclipse 2004 4 cycl. I gonna install OEM fog ligths, on the passenger side there is a electrical cable and connector for the fog light, but on the drivers side there is not one, can use the same...

Hi, if you're sure the cable is intended for the OEM fog lights, there should be no problem. All that is required is that the cable and fuse is large enough for the 2 lights. Make sure there is a fuse and that it doesn't burn when the lights are turned on. Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

I have the same problem as Sony 11. Passenger side high beam will not operate. Fuses OK. No visible corrosion. Took bulb from passenger side that didn't work and put it on the drivers side and it works....

The only thing it can be ie either wiring or connector terminals - a broken wire or a connector that has pulled loose in the circuit somewhere. try trace backwards from the headlight for any faults, I know it is difficult because everything goes back into inaccessible harnesses, but there really is no other way out. Check that the relay is plugged in properly and also inspect the fuse box where the wires come out.

Passenger side fog lamp wont turn on

Check the bulb, socket interface, clean contact points. IF you have a test light or ohmeter, check for power to the socket. If unpowered, check the fuse, if powered check bulb element, and socket condition.

2004 Saab 9.3 Conv Passenger side front & rear fog lights will not work. New bulbs. Why? What to do? Is there a fuse for just those on right side? All other lights work fine.

Sounds like similar problem I had on my older 93 - one side main beam and brake light not working. Turned out to be a problem with the filament testing relay. Got it resoldered and now ok.

02 Grand Am SE Instrument lights, fog lights don't work

There is a 10amp fuse located in the fuse box under the R/S instrument panel end cap cover.
Open the passenger door, remove the cover, if I remember correctly it is held in place with clips.
The Illumination fuse probobly blew when you were working on the multifunction switch, it happens.
Good luck, let me know if there is any thing further.

Fog lights on a maxima 2004

you can access those by removing the coolant overflow bottle on passenger side and air filter box on the drivers side. you do not have to go into the wheel well area at all.
