My 2005 Nissan Armada se 4X4 blown it's cooler lines i was told while traveling 70 mph, after towing to shop lines fix fluid replaced! i drove it the next day for about 30 minutes rpm's jumped and felt...

You should first fill the transmission fluid to the correct with genuine Nissan Matic J Transmission fluid and replacing the transmission input shaft speed sensor. Its costs approximately $113 at the dealer for the sensor.

Drain and refill transmission fluid

Start with 4 qts. of fluid. Start car and leave in Park. Check dipstick level while engine is idling. Add 1/2 qt. if still low, repeat if needed.

2005 jeep grand cherokee transmission control system error

Okay, wish you would of listed the code # but thats okay, the way you explained it sounds like the gear selector switch is bad, this switch is located on the side of ******, the computer and ****** think its in d3 this is cause most of the time 90% of the time to a bad selector switch also called a neutral safety switch,

replace switch reset codes and check ****** fluid , not sure how far you drove like this but if fluid is brunt i would have it flushed, not drain and fill but flushed, a BG flush.

I think with a flush and selector switch you will be all set, good day.

How do I check transmission fluid levels on a tuscon

if its an automatic .there will be a dip stick near the front of the engine i think its got an orange ring pull if its a Manuel there is a hex bolt on the side of the gear box \[big enough to add fluid through a tube if you open it and clean fluid run out .then its enough .but if you open it and dirty fluid runs out then it requires changing .dont over fill .this will do more harm than good .its best to let a garage do it { a quick fit type place will do it for about 30 pounds }

Engine light is on but no apparent problems. oil OK. antifreeze OK. checked spark plug wires in front. had serviced last week. drove 250 miles to Tucson. drove a couple of days around Tucson---no problem...

you should be able to cycle key 3 times quickly to on position and the odometer will show codes. have codes read and find out what issue is it may be something minor but its best to know before it gets more costly

Problems with the transmisson

Whit the engine ruining check your transmission fluid level
is possible than you have a transmission fluid leak and don't have enough fluid to work properly. NOTE: Do not ever fill it because that can case your transmission to wear out faster.
And make sure the car is on a level place and the engine is running while you check the level.

Automatic transmission keeps losing fluid newly installed

Sounds like it might be leaking through the Torque Converter seal. Easy fix...just sucks having to take the tranny out again.
