Under seat blower assy, a possible
I have the same problem. There is a sensor somewhere to tell the system whether there is air blowing through when you turn on the seat heater/cooler. If it detects no air moving it shuts down to keep from burning up the motor. It then will not go on and stay on until you reset it by turning off and restarting the car. It will then try again the first time you turn on the heat again but if there is still no air it will turn itself off again. Have you checked the air filter under the seat? If it is all plugged up it will block airflow shutting down the heater. They are suggested to be replaced every 35,000 miles. I changed mine when drivers seat heater would not stay on. It was filthy (128,000 miles probably never changed) but that did not fix my problem. It could also be the hose which curls around under the seat and then up the back is pinched somewhere cutting off airflow. Mine wasn't and I was going to go ahead and replace that hose but that piece costs over $150 so I've narrowed my problem down to either the wiring under the seat (impossible to see) or the control panel with the buttons (high $). Guess I am going to have to remove seat to know for sure but putting that off as I'm not sure I can get it put back in like it should be and don't want my drivers seat all messed up. Thinking about just raiding parts off the passenger seat which works of course. Good luck and pray it is just the plugged air filter for you. Got mine for $12 bucks and it just screws in the bottom of the seat .
