2006 4.2l ford freestar diagnostics at advance auto says cylinder 3 and 4 misfire changed plugs for 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 left 1 and 2 as is STILL HAS MISFIRE

Could be bad fuel injectors, as the _simplest_ easy-to-fix problem. (Also most likely problem). Past that, you're in better hands with the dealership repair shop (seriously). Don't have this repaired anywhere else. You'll pay for way more than you actually need anywhere other than the dealer for this type of problem.

WHEN DRIVING UP HILL, TEMP GAGE ALMOST AT THE TOP.

If no hose leaks and engine coolant is fine in radiator. I would say its a faulty thermostat. A malfunctioning thermostat would result in temperature fluctuations throughout the operation of the engine. God-Bless!

No such thing as a Tune-Up

Only Spark Plugs are left from a tune-up,

So I don't see where you shouldn't
know what to do

Sounds as if fins are worn on waterpump. A pump doesnt need to leak or you to smell it for it to be bad. My bets waterpump, 24 yrs as a ford senior master behind this thought...
