Sounds like you may have the dash cluster solder problem. Here's a link to some pictures of what needs to be done, but if you google Caravan dash soldering, or similar, there is more details out there.

My grand voyager had many electrical problems such as: the right window, the radio, and the total loss of instrument panel. I re-soldered both pins in the cluster, following its directions, and now the car came back to life! everything is now working! Thank you very much.

The odometer, gas gauge, basically none of the instrument panel registers anything. What is it?

It could be a loose plug on the instrument pannel or a blown fuse. Sometimes if you hit your dash right above the guages they will come on for a seccond. That will tell you its a loose plug on the guage cluster. First I would check the fuses though. Hope that helps. Write back if neither of those work.

Replaced once before and still periodically happens. Disconnect battery and reconnect and it starts working on our voyager.

Can someone tell me why my cluster goes on and off in my 1997 plymouth grand voyager

It's a common problem on the Caravans, the problem is the wire harness at the back of the Instrument Cluster has a bad or cracked solder on the circuit board. If your remove the cluster from the dash and disconnect the wire harness, the clip on the circuit board at the center of the cluster that the wire harness connects to is the culprit. With a solder gun and some solder, you can fix this problem by re-soldering the terminals to the wire harness clip on the circuit board. Good luck and hope this helps, if your cluster goes off and does not come back on, give the top of the dash a good thump with your hand and the cluster should come back to life.

HELP! Problems on my 1997 Grand Caravan P1698, P0138, P0140

you need to go over your entire wiring harness, under the hood and inside the dash. Start with the ground wire on the battery and work your way inside. It sounds like there is a loose ground wire somewhere
