What fluid do you have in the tanks? Is it the summer formula which may freeze below 32 deg. F? Or, I would check fuses for the windshield wiper fluid pumps.

Also, check with a test light to see if the test light goes on when the backprobed connection to the windshield wiper fluid pump should be energized with the button or switch inside the vehicle.

If the electric pumps which should wrrrr when working are bad, replace at or near the tanks.

WHERE DO i FILL WIPER FLUID IN REAR FOR 2006 NISSAN MURANO?

The fluid for both windows comes from the front resivoir. The pump there is suited to pump either to the front or to the rear based upon your operation of the switch & if the rear isn't working, the line will need to be removed near the pump & checked for obstructions.

These can be cleaned with a vacuum tester, the kind that lets you pump the unit & draw a vacuum, connected to the hose, it will draw any debris back out of the tube. You probably don't want to try & force fluid through the hose as it won't fit through the washer nozzle.

good luck

On my 06 equinox the rear window fluid is empty and I cant find how to refil it

The fluid for the rear washer just comes from the front fluid container. If it is not coming out through your rear squirter, try and hold the lever that makes it spray for about 10 seconds. If it is still not working, there may be either a blockage in the lines (if you live in a cold climate it could be frozen), or the line may be broken or disconnected, or the pump that supplies washer fluid to the rear window could be burned out, or the fuse could be blown.

If you activate the rear window washer, do you hear any pumps making any noises? If it is making noises, then the pump works, meaning either the line is frozen, broken, or disconnected.
If you do not hear pump noises, then it is either your fuse for the pump, the pump itself, or perhaps even the switch (which is less likely)

All of these solutions are only going to help if you make sure that the washer fluid container is full :)

Window washer fluid doesn,t work

may have a bad pump, when button is push do you see fluid driping on to the ground? if yes then there a broken line , just watch when it sparys and youll locate the leak, if you hear no noise when pushing button then id say the washer pump motor is no could and also make sure fluid is full and not frozen in bottle. good luck.

1999 Jeep Cherokee rear window washer

There are two separate washer pumps underneith the washer res. behind the front driver quarter panel. The exact pumps are hard to find. I have the same prob with my 99, but both are out. I had a 98 that the front worked but not rear. I had to get a "universal" washer pump. I'm still trying to find a factory replacement for this one before I do that. No luck so far.
