Ford F150 2004 To 2008 Factory Service Repair Manual
SOURCE: Ford F150 remote key does not work after car battery
Should not have happened,
For the Factory RKE ( Remote Keyless Entry ) have you tried reprogramming the key fobs to your truck. The procedure is in the owners manual ( need all of them at programming time ).
This is stored in NVR, and should not need to be done, but worth a try.
If this is an aftermarket Remote start / alarm, check the owners manual for t on battery replacement. Have seen some off brand with strange battery ( truck's battery that is ) replacement steps.

Two tips:
* If your anti-theft system is sounding (horn honking/lights flashing)you press the panic button on your key fob to shut it off.
* If your anti-theft system is armed (but not triggered) it is disarmed when you unlock the door(s) using your unlock button on your keyfob, the key pad on the driver's door, or your key.
Hope help with this. Good luck (remember rated this).

sounds like aaa might have popped your main fuse. i would call aaa back and tell them your problem. they are responsible.

Try turning the key from off to run ( do not start ) and wait 5 seconds, to see if the theft light on the cluster goes out.
If it does, check the fuel pump relay and the fuse for the fuel pump, and the fuel inertia switch in the passenger side kick panel.
If the light does not go out, as Ren1221 posted, try another key. If you do not have another key, you will need to tow it to a dealer or repair shop that can perform the erase all keys, and program 2 new keys.
