My 86 prelude has a problem with starting. I recently put in a new starter and it went well for about a week then out of nowhere it just stopped starting... then a couple days later my dad started repeatedly turning the key and got it started. now everytime i need to go i have to do this. it is getting harder and harder to do so now i have school. What can the problem be?

the relay command starter signal small wire at starter look at the relay youll see numbers at the legs side 30 87 are your contacts 85 86 are the relay coil make sure all contacts are clean when car wont start hook test lit between 85 86 should lit up next join 30 87 use a piece off wire car should crank if doesnt check power at pin 30 o 87 one must be hot if every check pass replace starter solenoid
If the starter has never been replaced, it is probable seized onto the transmission. Try spraying penetrating fluid, or WD40 on the area its seized on, and use a prybar to remove the starter. I hope this helps Matt
I have checked the cables and battery and everything checks out fine.
