Hi, I am missing a few fuses in my 2nd fuse box situated in the engine of my volvo S40
1, Auxiliary Heater fuse
2,Vacuum pump fuse
3, Alarm Horn fuse
Can anybody help? were they taken off for a reason?

alternator belt braking would not stall the engine but your dash would of lit up like a christmas tree. you will need to have the engine on an obd reader to see what the problem is. did the belt snap or was it stripped ? alternator over load would cut the engine out check the fuse in the engine fuse box there is 2, 80 amp fuse in there check these are fine.
i have a 98 s40. The fuses can be found internal (under the dashboard near the bonnethandle). Inside it you can find the fuse clamp and extra fuses. These can also be used for the external fusebox under the bonnet. I have found the fuse that might be broken, but i can't replace it because it has some extra casing. It's for internal lights and the alarm.
