Hi Deettec

your problem seems very easy :) hope this one work with your envoy. Just buy AC DELCO carburetor tune-up conditioner.

How you use it: engine running , AC off please

1. detached the big black airflow hose which is attached in the mannifold of the engine block.

2. ask your friend to step on the gas pedal and set the rpm steady in 2000 rpm only.

3. then spray vigorously in 8 seconds the inside circle opening of mannifold while your friend steady step on gas pedal with steady 2000 RPM only.

4. after you spray, let your freind continue on gas pedal with 2000 rpm for 15 more seconds.

5. attached back the airflow big black hose to the manifold and you are ready to roll with your AC on.

2004 GMC Envoy thermostat replaced and now the dash vents are not working

When thermostat was replaced, the battery was probably disconnected and that caused the HVAC system to lose its calibration. To initiate the calibration properly, first set all HVAC controls to their OFF or CCW positions. Then disconnect the battery for about a 2 - 3 minutes, then reconnect. Do not touch any of the controls for about 2 minutes. If this does not fix the vent problem, you probably have a bad or stuck actuator, or a stuck vent door.

My 2004 envoy will not start. A couple nights ago the lights on the dash were going crazy on and off. I would lose power on the radio and the dash gauges would lose power (fuel, battery, water) they...

Check the connections at the battery. Loose connections or corroded connections will cause this same symptom.

It is not uncommon for side terminal batteries to also have a problem internally between the mounting button (the place that the cable end bolts to) and the internal connection to the battery.

What sounds like what is happening is the connection is good enough to power up a light load, dash lights, gauges, radio, etc, but when a heavy load is demanded the connection heats up and looses continuity.

I see this issue more on fords but I have seen a fair amount of GM's with this issue.

P0410 Secondary air injection system fault, P0128 Coolant temp

most ecu controlled vehicles have a 'limp home'mode if 2 or more fault codes are stored,it is designed to get your attention before damage is caused and to get you to the nearest w.shop to fix,i would have codes cleared and retest vehicle,it is the cheapest and 1st option for any shop, some late models even have excessive mileage past service interval in the 'limp' program

ERRACTIC RPM

Clean your throttle body. Once the battery is disconnected and the computer reset, it no longer increases power to make up for a dirty throttle body. Get a $4 can of carb cleaner. If you go to a mechani9c they will tell you that it is the ac compressor.
