Reverse light are operated by the range selector switch on the side of transmission aka. gear selector lever. A problem with the t/s lights would be in the turn signal combo switch.

If it is a frayed wire or solder point, then you can repair it, but not any worn contacts. ... Does anyone have any suggestions on 1997 Honda Accord tail & brake lig.

See if they share a common grounding point or a connector in the wiring harness ,power supply etc.... Check by wiggling connections , wiring harness etc.. till you find were you can make the lights go on an off .
So the brake switch must be ok.

The fuse block and relay bank is located on the driver's side under the lower instrument panel. The fuse block contains fuses for various circuits as well as circuit breakers, horn relay, ignition lamp thermal time delay, and the turn signal flasher. what color of wire is coming from the horn button on the steering wheel to the relay, trying to find why the horn does not work, relay, fuse ok, but can't find a wiring diagram for the horn.
