Oxygen senser - 1999 Dodge Caravan

Possible causes
- Faulty Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1
- Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 harness is open or shorted
- Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 circuit poor electrical connection
- Inappropriate fuel pressure
- Faulty fuel injectors
- Intake air leaks may be faulty
- Exhaust gas leaks

Most likely is your rear O2 sensor malfunction.

find the plug unplug it use a O2 socket turn ounter clockwise to remove should be located in the exhaust manifold or infront of the cat teh one behind the cat is the downstreme

This car had 3 different engine options, but I only show one sensor upstream from the catalytic converter.
Before you replace it know that something else can make that code set. The computer does not like the reading from the sensor.

just replace the oxygen senser

bank 2 sensor 1 is oxygen sensor upstream before catalytic converter.

the oxygen sensors are located in the exhaust system. you can miss them just follow the exhaust. their should be one before the catalytic conver and one after. if it's a 6 cylinder there will be 2 before and 2 after

The only thing that comes out of the exhaust with a wire coming from it, is the oxygen senser. It is right behind the manafold.

Hi,some manufacturers recomend either super or regular unleded ,the diference is the octane rating ,this will not afect your motor but you allways should stay with the factory recomendations......

Changing the O2 sensor for a P-0135? Use a TOYOTA sensor. The aftermarket/generic sensors do NOT work in Toyotas.

User with the smoking problem: Remove the valve cover & check for engine oil sludge where the cams ride. If it is sludged, a rebuild is necessary, BUT, Toyota DOES have warranty assistance for this issue. All you need are oil change receipts.

1999 TOYOTA CAMRY--CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON THEN A DAY LATER THE TRAC OFF LIGHT CAME ON. COULD YOU TELL ME WHAT MIGHT BE WRONG.
