POWER MIRRORS DON'T WORK AT ALL ANY FUSE ON 2002 FORF RANGER

Check to see if the mirrors share a fuse with another circuit, if fuse is good, check for 12v at the mirror, if no voltage check for 12v going to the power mirror switch. If no voltage check for 12v at the ignition circuit that feeds 12v to the power mirrors.

Power mirrors don't work on a 2000 Ford Escort ZX2. Located the fuse labeled radio, which the manual says is also for the power mirrors, and it is ok.

Take out the mirror switches and spray it with electronic cleaner or electrical cleaner. This is a common problem with power mirrors.

NEED WIRING DIAGRAM FOR 1997 EXPLORER POWER MIRROR

Two things to check. First, depending which is easier (check that one first) you need to see if you are getting power to the switch itself. If neither mirror works, then the switch is dead, or one of the wires going to the mirror is dead. That is the most likely. The second would be to check if you are getting power out of the fuse box going to the power mirror switch, that way you can help determine if its a wirring problem.

The electric compass and temp. display isnt working in my 2001 ford sport trac. Also, the power side mirrors and the keyless entry? Is this a fuse problem and if so does any one know the fuse #, my owners...

I believe that the mirrors and entry issues are not related to the overhead console. Compass/temp failure is a very common problem with many of the mid 2000 Ford truck and SUV overhead consoles. The console is very prone to internal failure. If the dome lights work but the compass unit does not then it is a faulty computer unit. 2002 Ford Explorer - Drivers side door lock, rear

Aside from the fuses, your drive side power door lock may be failing to work because of a bad door-lock relay system, or, alternatively, the locking switch/button, itself, is not malfunctioning and in need of replacement.

A great handyman site that specifies the above probable causes and more is the following link:

Dome lights won't work or power mirrors

Ford's are notorious for electrical 'ghosts'.
If the fuses are all fine.. and the motors for the windows and the light bulb for the dome light are good... probably not much that can be done unless you want to give it to the dealer for diagnosis and repair, but they'll probably tell you they can't find the problem.
