Start at the wheel farthest from the master cylinder and work your way to the closest for last. Typically RR, LR, RF, LF.

Installed new rorors and brake pads to front of my 2009 Journey. Now I have good brakes but the pedal will slowly go to the floor if your foot is left on the pedal as you would while at a stop light. Why...

Trapped air in the brake lines could cause that. Try bleeding both sides from d nipple on the brake caliper, be careful to top fluid as u do so. Some scan tools can however bleed brakes too. Try whichever one suits you better.

Own a 2009 Dodge Journey I have had front brakes/routers replaced at 20,000 mile now its time for back brakes at 40,000k. How much will this cost?

i cant imagine already having to replace brakes, look into a recall. Around $160.00 if you do it yourself.

Brake light stuck on. 2009 Dodge Journey. Front brakes and rotos replaced at 40,000 miles. Keyless remote still is working.

Brake light switch mounted just above your brake pedal under dash is mis-aligned and/or defective

Replaced brake pads on 2009 Dodge Journey, but now when the brakes are pressed the caliper won't engage.

Well you need to check your fluid level on the master cylinder first. Then I suggest that you bleed the brake system. Always start bleeding from the wheel furthest away from the master.

Replaced brake pads on 2009 Dodge Journey, but now when the brakes are pressed the calipers won't engage

Did you bleed out the air in the brake lines and replace fluid after you did the job? Is there any grease or other substance on the surface of the pads?

I change the pads on my dodge jorney and

this is very simple but you will need an assistant. take the wheel off of the caliper you need to bleed. have your assitant keep steady pressure on the brakes while you slowly open the bleeder screw. you don't want to open it so far the brake fluid squirts all over. if the brake pedal hits the floor you will need to tighten the bleeder screw before your assistant lets off the pedal. another helpful thing to have is a clear tube that fits snugly aroung the bleeder screw so when you open it you can see the air bubbles more easily.
