Turn signals and high beams

Recently the rear left brake light went out. I have repair that and it works but now I have no turn signals or high beams both which are controlled by the lever on the left side of the steering column. The fuses are good, but I have no turn signals or high beams. Any help you can give me? Thanks, Brad

First check around all the lights (front, rear, headlight, turn signal, parking, fog, etc..) for loose, broken, or bare wires, and/or loose , broken, or bad connectors. Any of these could cause the lighting to short. If everything is in good working order, then the problem will most likely lie with switch inside the column (the lever).

I have a Chevy impala LT 2006 I need to know Why my turn signal and hazards and bright lights won't work

Likely a bad ground, but could be a fuse(s), or a failed multifunction switch, or BCM. It requires circuit testing to identify the cause.

2000 Jeep Cherokee: with the tun signal lever in the rear position (head lights on "LOW"beam) and then activated for a "LEFT " turn, both rear turn signals blink.

Does it do the same with the lights on 'High' beam? If it works correctly on 'High' beam it could be the switch in the lever at fault.
Next check the fuses for the turn signals and the Hazard lights. They will be in the fuse box under the hood. Some vehicles will have separate fuses for Left, Right and Hazard lights others may share fuses.
If the fuses are OK it could be a faulty flasher unit. Check to see if the hazard lights work correctly. Some vehicles use separate flasher units for turns and hazards and others share 1.

The left turn signal and the high beam switch recently stopped working. Hazard lights all work, and the high beams can be actuated by pulling back on turn signal. 2008 Subaru Legacy

You probably have a bad turn signal switch. Sometimes when they overheat because of excessive resistance plastic parts will melt causing these types of problems.

Headlights not working on low beam

Replace the turn signal switch. All exterior lights run threw it except the high mount brake light.

I have a problem with the low beams on my headlights. The high beams works just fine. All of the other lights(turn signal, emergency lights, etc.) work except for the low beams.

Check the fuses first. then replace the turn signal switch if all fuses are good. All the lights run threw it, except the high brake light on the rear.

1998 chevy lumina: rear window brake light not working, left brake light not working, rear left turn signal not working

See if bulbs have burnt out in the left brake light and rear turn signal (one bulb if combined) and also rear center high mount brake light.

If the left turn signal has a slower speed than the right turn signal, this is a symptom of a bulb or bulbs burnt out.

Usually, the wiring is not a problem, but I would not rule wiring (or sockets) as a problem out.

Good luck on this repair.

your problem is attributed to the turn signal switch , both the left and right turn signals go thru the switch as well as the brake lights , it is a common problem with these cars.
