Hi,

Either the radio's output ICs are fried or speaker/wires needs to be checked.

Incidentally, there are some higher end versions that has an Infinity Amplifier (P/N: 56038407AD) powering the speakers and not the radio (alone). If so, this amp needs a trigger on from the head unit to work and therefore, the trigger wire/connection must be checked. Otherwise, it may likewise require an internal check.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

I can no longer program radio stations on My 2002 Montero Sport

I dont know what wire u unplugged for sure but sounds like it was the memory power source. is the radio after market or OEM if its after market It should be a yellow wire but as far as OEM goes i cant tell you which wire is memory but if you contact the dealer and speak with a tech they should be able to tell you or print off the schematics for your vehicle.

I have a 99 Jeep cherokee and there is a popping noise when turning or backing up. I have replaced everything possible and the noise is still there

This may sound stupid but have you looked at your splash guards in your wheel wells. I had simular noises coming from one of my cars, I thought that it was the suspention, and after a while of looking around i found it was my splash guard rubbing against the tire. I was just glad I didn't take it in to a shop. LOL!

99 jeep cherokee sport 4.0l 6cyl voltage will go to 19v

The problem sounds intermittent, if you put volt meter on the battery while it is at that 19volt mark/reading(on the gauge cluster) you will be able to see if it is true. If your alternator is really charging over 16volts the lights should be getting brighter then usual and/or they are burning out. Find out ASAP, if the alternator has a defective voltage regulator, it needs to be replaced. Prolong use will damage components.

1994 Jeep cherokee am/fm radio backlight lamp is out and AC/Heat dash lamp is out

There is a tiny little peanut shaped light bulb inside the radio that provides the light for the dial, it is replaceable, you will need to remove the radio, then pull the top cover off the radio chassis, the bulb is under the cover.
