The blower motors problem is the resistor has gone bad. Sorry I don't know exactly where yours is, But I think it is under the hood , passenger side ,against the firewall, next to the blower. It will have three or four big wires going to it. On the brake I would replace the switch, sounds as if it shorted and check the wires , see if they have melted. The switch is on the brake pedal under the dash. Let me know

There is a blower motor resister that has gone bad, also check the blower switch on the back, the connection could be burned ,the blower motor causes this to happen, even though it sounds ok,it is drawing to many amps.
You may have 2 separate problems, check the bower motor resistor first, if it's bad replace it and THEN you should have the fan blowing on the lower settings.
If the ac turns on after you fix this then problem solved, if not it may be unrelated have a pro look at the ac.
common problem, replace the blower motor (fan) resistor, this is what controls the fan speed, its located on heaterbox next to blower motor.heres a picture of it,its on the rightside of dash toward the bottom. hope this helps.
The fan motor has gone out,it was bad before it went out, drawing too many amps,so it took the blower motor resister out with it.The resister is next to the blower motor. On the speedo, check,or replace the speed sensor in the transmission,
Your blower motor resistor has gone bad, it should be located next to your blower motor in the car, held in place with a couple of screws, remove it and replace it. The resistor is responsible for making the blower motor run at slower speeds than high or (4). Let me know if this helps.
Check the Blower motor Resistor . It is located under the dashboard near the blower motor. It has a 4 wire plug and a couple of screws attaching the resistor in place.
Your problem is probably a part called the heater resistor block or board. When this part burns out you will only have high speed on the fan. On my 1999 voyager it is located on the firewall and it snaps in a hole in the firewall. This is under the hood behind the alternator. Mine had a multi pin black plug plugged into it. Unplug the plug and you should be able to pull the block out insert new block and plug plug back in and it should come to life.
