Back up lights don't work.. changed bulbs and checked wiring at the plug. I think it may be a fuse but I don't know the location. Any help would be appreciated.

The fuse box is under the dash by the stering wheel. The owners manual has a diagram of what fuses are what. The switch in the gear shift that activates the back up lights may be bad.

How do i fix the brake lights on my mercury sable. all the other lights work fine

Does your car have the `lamp out'indicator system? It's more complicated.
My manual shows fuse #28 , a 15 amp fuse powers the brake bulbs. Is this the one you changed?
A bulb can be out for a long time and you don't notice it,then the other burns out and you think they both went out at the same time, but they might not have, see?
So check the bulbs and make sure you got that brake switch installed correctly. don-ohio (:^)

I have a 92 toyota ccamry v6 and.my high beams dont work. the blue high beam light dont work too. I check all the fuse but its okay, where is the high beam relay located and how do I.run a simple test.

I will assume that you have upgraded the lights on your 92 Camry as I don't remember them coming with a blue high beam; but that is ok.I think what you are saying is that you added lights to your Camry. Problem is you may be overloading your light circuit depending upon what you have added or changed on your vehicle. You may want to check a wiring diagram, refer to www.chilton.cengage.com and also check your wiring starting where your bulbs sockets are and see if anything is wrong there. Also take a good highbeam bulb for this auto and insert it in the highbeam bulb socket. See if a new bulbs works.

I have no brake lights in my '97 dodge caravan le but i have taillights

Have yoiu changed/checled the lightbulbs? (In other words,do your turn signal lights work? If the front turn signal lights work, but the rear don't, then turn on your four (4) way flashers. If the rear lights still don't work, then all the bulbs are bad. It is rare for all the bulbs to be burnt out at the same time, but it does happen.

If the turn signal/four way flasher lights work, then you probably have a bad brake light switch. However, first check your owner's manual to make certain there is not a separate fuse for these lights. If there is, then swap the fuse for the brake lights for another fuse (or relay) of the same size/amperage. (Facing the hood, the power relay box is located on the right side (usually) under the hood.)

The fuse box is located under the dash, on the driver's side of the car. Usually there is a plastic cover that has to be removed to access the underside of the dash, and then there is a plastic cover that has to be removed to access the fuse box. If you don't have an owner's manual, nprmally the fuses and power relays are normally marked on the plastic covers your remove ot access the fuses and power relays.

If the fuses/relays are good, then you have a bad brake light switch. This is located on a bracket just above the brake pedal. When you push the pedal down, the switch makes contact. Disconnect the plug to the switch, and jump across the plug contacts (not the switch) with a small piece of wire, or if a piece of insulated wire is unavailable, you can use a paperclip, you won't get schocked, just make certain that the paperclip does not come in contact with a ground while you have it plugged in to the plug for the brake light switch.

If the lights stil dont work, check for power to the plug for the brake light switch. If you have power to the plug, the turn signals and four-way flashers work, then my guess would be that you have a broken power wire (probably iside the steering column, or a bad turn signal switch. If the brake lights work whe nyou jump out the brake light switch, then the brake light switch is defective.

Right back turn signal fuse for ford ranger 2005 where is it what number is it and what voltage is it

I don't think that there is a fuse for one turn signal light, if the fuse for the turn signal lights was blown no turn signal lights would work, your problem is most likely a blown bulb or a loose wire, check the wiring & the bulb......hope this helps......cheers.

hi...

1.may be the bulb might have fused off. did you trying changing the bulb. if not try changing it and try it.

2.may be the wire which connects the bulb have been busnt out before the fuse fuses off.this is occurs because of using wrong grade fuse. try checking the wires are in good condition.

02 Pathfinder back lights just died

Some times when you get a short circuit. It will burn out a tail light bulb. With the bulb burnt out you don’ have a complete circuit. First, replace you tail light bulbs. If that doesn’t work. Check to see if you have a ground wire come off.
