-Roof will not cause that. Shaking steering cause from un even wear front tires.

you mean to say the engine is missing?

which wheel...? the flat tire or the spare tire..?

What condition are your tires in ? hit anything lately ? curb , pot hole ? Have your tires checked an balanced ! An have a alignment check done ! Also check for a sticking caliper ! worn suspension parts , control are bushings !

check tire pressure and alignement.

I 'am takeing it for granted they mounted the original tire on a new or used rimm if they did you might have a broken belt in the tire from the pot hole insident, or it wasent balanced, or there could be a problem with the drive axel maybe bent or a bad cv-joint.

Most likely one of the tires has a bad belt or out of round alot, barring anything being loose back there.

check the brake, hand brake cable, differentail, driver train. in that order.

This usually indicates a problem with the suspension components. Check for play in front end suspension, 1st thing I would check would be the steering damper, it's often overlooked, and could be the cause. If that checks out ok, jack up and check for play in wheels, which could be caused by worn ball joints, tie rod ends, wheel bearings. A lot of possibilities, generally play in any components can trigger the shaking you're experiencing when hitting a pot hole or bump. Good luck!
