What size battery does the 4.0l jeep cherokee use model 1998 i think my battery is to small to pull the sterter. Grert Marcus.

Auto zone(auto parts store) says the duralast 34DT-DLC or the 34DLC is the right battery for the jeep. Any auto parts store can look up the battery and tell you what you need. I really hope this helps

I have a 4.0l and the book calls for anything with c.c.p. of 625 & up will work fine. {i.e. "c.c.p. = Cold Cranking Power}

How do you reset a anti-theft system on a 1998 jeep grand cherokee limited 5.2 v8.

You can pull the battery for 10 mins and it should reset the entire ECU PCM and Anti Theft system

Hello There

15 Amp sounds too small. It should be around 25 -30 Amp. You need to double check the size of fuse needed.

my jeep was just having that same problem make sure the battery cables are tight and have no corrosion,doesnt sound lik a big deal but it is,and check the carborator and air filter, it may not be getting enough air flow
