The radio and signal switch on my 2002 bmw 525 i comes on at will, and sometimes the radio wont turn off, and the volume goes up and down. what should i do

hi, it could be a bad earth,fuse box fault,damaged wire or connector you would identify which one by using a multimeter otherwise known as a cercuit tester

I was facing this problem recently. resolved by jump start.
switch off headlights and everything that consumes battery and then try to start.

The radio volume goes up when you give it Gas this intern hides engine noise. This is very common with higher end cars
There is a adjustment on the radio that will set the level you wish the volume to go up when accelerating, its a nice factory option to have there is nothing wrong with your BMW.

There is a little switch in the trunk in the middle of the panel behind the seats....check to make sure that the switch is engaged and functional...easy repair if the switch is faulty

2003 x5 radio comes on for 5mins then shuts off

has to remove the inside panel door and remove the clip inside to open the handle cover then u can see the two nuts and remove them

Hi , this would be a fault with the heater risistor located in the heater box , you will need to replace this item to cure this fault , regards mark

1.see for the brake fuild level is ok if less then also the break circuit light might appear  2.if the brake switch fail on the fluid container then also the light appear 3.if the hand brake switch fail then also the light appear  4.if the hand brake switch have some play in ti then also in between suddently it will appear while brake is applied so for more solution do may check out or just visit your nearest authoried BMW service centre.. so untill then have happy motoring & safe driving so see you soon sir...!

it means it is not set for USA what you do is with the car running and the radio off turn on the radio and within2 sec hold down the m button hold it till it goes into the next screen from there scroll to the left or the right till you come across the area section and change it to USA you can play around with the other stuff too while you are in there such things like signal streangth
