My gas meter doesnt tell the real gas amount. what do i do?

either the gauge or the sending unit. Both can be checked with an ohm meter for accuracy. You will need a manual that tells you expected resistance.

i cant find it, you stumped me, the FSM pdf fails to show the camera option package. at all. so must be (guess) a supplement manual.
why not check for power at the camera, 12vdc, got power there.?
use a volt meter, if power is good, it's other issues, if power is bad
then ask for fuse on that wire color there, we can tell you the fuse
any color wire.

check the ground wire for your fuel gauge, or it would be a bad fuel level sensor which is located on the pump assembly itself, located IN the fuel tank.

The most common cause of the fuel level meter not working is that the fuel level meter sending unit located inside the gas tank is defective.

vapor lock... check your emissions system

Gas gauge might need ajustment or re-placed. Won't hurt to get it checked out. Don't want to get stuck some where with no gas. Hope this helps.

you will need to replace the fuel cap. The light doesnt tell you the cap is on or off. What itis doing is measuring the pressure in your tank. If it is not in a certain range then the light comes on.

Check all fuses and relays. As far as the gas gauge, you may need a new fuel pump, fuel pump relay, or the float on the fuel pump is loose or came off from ear and tear.The mirrors: check the fuses; also, check, or have the button panel in the door checked to ensure the connection are secure. May need a new switch for the mirrors. I am not familiar with this vehicle; but this is what I suggest doing to solve the issues.

Replace the fuel sending unit in the gas tank.
