By chance, did it start idling rough while you had the defroster on, or the A/C? This is a very common problem after the battery is disconnected AND the defroster or the A/C is on. The defroster uses the A/C to dry the air. To fix this, spend about $7 on a can of throttle body cleaner. Disconnect your battery again, and clean your throttle body. After finished, reconnect the battery and drive for about 5 miles with the defroster or A/C off, this will allow the computer to reset and relearn the newly cleaned throttle body. When you changed your battery, you computer reset and thought the throttle body was clean, therefore you get rough idling when the defroster or A/C is on.
