Sounds like the fuel pump. Have the fuel pressure checked with a Pressure Test Guage. Different cars have different fuel pressure requirements, but for a fuel injected vehicle should be somewhere in the area of 40-60 psi. Also check that fuel filter was not installed backwards, on some vehicles this can restrict fuel flow,

I have a 92 honda accord and it keeps dieing

Fuel pump relays are a common problem with Hondas.
I would check the fuel pressure when it won't start.
You may also have a problem with the fuel filter or the pump.
There is a long list of possibilities.

Major hesitation at cold idle, car accelerates at a slow pace, hesitation also appears when in passing gear. replaced fuel filter 2 months ago

92 Honda Accord boggs down when throttle is pressed at idle speed

try unplugging the egr vacuum source and plug the line and drive. If no difference you ruled out the egr as being the issue.
Please do not rate this solution since by not seeing the car and doing my own test there is no way to tell if maybe you just hooked up something wrong.

Dies out and when you push on the gas it dies and will not stay started - have to power brake when idleing

if it is carburated it sounds like bad accelerator pump in carb, or plugged fuel filter. if you haven't changed the fuel filter recently i'd start with that.if that was done than you may have a bad carb accelerator pump. needs rebuild or replaced.

HONDA Accord 1981 model

the fuel is bad, check your fuel lines and put new fuel in. fuel does go bad if you leave it sitting too long, next time run your car for 15-30 min once a week to prevent this
