There are a number of great injector cleaners you can purchase at auto part places, or even Walmart.
You put this product into the fuel tank and if an injector is clogged, it will dissolve the material from the injector and it will come off. If the problem is an clogged injector, the cleaner will handle it. Otherwise you will need to replace the offending part. I personally have never had to replace a fuel injector.
Hope this is helpful to you.
Best Regards,
Mark

Hi

Theres 2 ways.

The easy one is buy some fuel additive or injector cleaner this goes in with the fuel and cleans them chemically, although this often works it is not 100% reliable but it is the cheapest and easiest option to start with.

Secondly you can remove them and blast them through with compressed air, takes a lot longer.

Hope this helps

Regards

Dan

Easy way to clean injector and lines 97 e150 van 5.4L triton sat for 4yrs. bad gas whats the best way to clean injectors and lines

Go to your parts store and ask for a fuel injector cleaning kit they have a hose that connects to the fuel rail and you manually spray it into the injectors while engine is running otherwise get some seafoam at any parts store and poor it in your tank and that will aid in cleaning the injectors

What should the resistance specks be on the injectors on a 1999 ford v10 motor .using a ome meter .trying to see if injectors are bad

You would only be testing the solenoid coil portion of the injectors. There is still the mechanical movement portion that would be in question as well as how clean the injectors are.
There may be injector testing available at some shops.
You can run some injector cleaner through (Sea Foam is amazing for all types of cleaning).
High octane fuel will do no good in cleaning or making your engine run better, so don't go that route.

Cleaning injectors on 4.9 ford inline six

You can have them professionally cleaned, but I have made a wiring harness with an injector plug from old harness, sealed pushbutton switch, and battery clips. Remove injectors, one at a time hook up and breifly energise injector and use carb cleaner to back flush injector. This will clean the screen filter and usually restore normal operation. CAUTION carb cleaner spray is flammable so all wiring and switch must be no sparks.

How I can get out the injectors for clean it ?

Removing injectors can be a difficult job. The safest way to clean the injectors is to get some good fuel additive that is supposed to clean the injectors.

Fuel injectors

You typically don't need to remove your fuel injectors to clean them. Have you tried using a really strong fuel injector cleaning product? Also if you go to any garage, they can use a machine to clean you injectors for you, it is a lot easier and less expensive (if you screw something up) than doing it yourself.

What is the average cost to clean fuel line and injectors on a1990 jaguar xj6 ?

Clean How?

On a vehicle that old, you remove the injectors
& mail them to a place that ultrasonically cleans them

That is about $45.00 each

There is no fuel line cleaning

You could have them cleaned on the car with the
injector cleaner that is put in a container & pressurized
to at or 5 lbs above rail pressure, the pump fuse removed
& run off that mixture

Don't know what that costs. Say $100.00 or less

Changing a fuel injector on a Toyota Carina 1996 1800, anyone have an idea how to change before I start?

Disconnect the wiring plugs from the injectors, Then remove the fuel rail (which is attached to injectors). Then remove injectors from the fuel rail. Don`t forget to change the "O-rings", (little rubber things on the end of each injectors). Otherwise there`s a possibility of fuel leak.
Also I suggest trying to clean the faulty injector at first, It might be ok, just dirty inside.
How to clean: Use injector cleaning fluid on the end of the head of the injector. Attach minus and plus to the contacts of the injector to battery of the car or any other energy source, and start pulling the negative wire on the battery on and off. You should hear clicking sound in the injector. Use the fluid and this "technique" for couple minutes or more, until the injector starts spitting the cleaning fluid evenly, not rarely. If still the injector doesn`t spit the fluid, you might need to change it.

Hope this helps, sorry for my english. I`m a lithuanian

Need DIY instructions for cleaning the fuel injectors on a Ford F150 FX4 Triton V8

Very detailed and car specific. There are at least three ways to do it. One is to take the injectors out of the truck and use a fuel injector solvent to clean them. Another way is to use a fuel additive to clean your injectors pour in your tank and off you go (do it at every oil change) Another way is to hook your car up to a fuel injection cleaning machine. It essentially by passes your gas tank and connects directly to your injectors to clean them with your engine running.

We have a 2000 Chevy S-10 pick-up,that wont start. I have spark, I have fuel up to the metering body, it starts when I spray starter fluid into the throttle body, long enough to burn it off. I have 12...

Have you put the car on an OBD scanner to see if there are any errors present. Even if there is no CEL light - the bulb could be burned out or removed.

Injectors require (acidic) pressurized equipment to clean.
This is not really an option open to the do-it-yourselfer because it requires special equipment that can cost anywhere from $4,000 to $8,300. Because of that and the labor involved, a shop may charge you $40+ per injector for removal and cleaning. (Makes you long for the good old days of carburetion, doesn’t it?)
But it’s a lot cheaper than spending at least twice that to replace ruined injectors with new ones, which is what happens when an injector becomes hopelessly clogged. And injectors can be tested, observed, and compared off the car. An injector that’s not passing as much liquid as the others can be re-cleaned. If that doesn’t work and the injector must be replaced, the injector that needs to be replaced is easily pinpointed.
When cleaning injectors, fuel varnish should also be removed from the throttle body and intake tract with an aerosol cleaning solvent. Intake valves and combustion chambers should also be cleaned using a “top cleaner” type of product, especially on engines that burn oil. Replace the spark plugs after performing any kind of engine cleaning; also change the oil and filter.
