There are instructions on how to remove the cd player in other area's if you search correctly. I bought my 2003 mustang with cd's jammed in the player. I was able to remove the player from the console, open the cd player, remove the cd's and reassemble. If you find the instructions I used you should be able to do it without breaking the unit.

My CD player jammed while testing it during my test drive (2001 GT), and they offered to replace it.

I found out that all of them do it. When I eject my disc, and it jams. If you look into the slot, you can see the cd. It is just not quite aligned right. Use your fingers to tap (as hard as you can) on the front of the deck. It should knock the cd loose, and it will come out. Works every time for me. Don't wait for the error to come up, as soon as you notice it didn't come out, do it, and it should eject just fine.

CD HOLDER STUCK

dash radio,
stock radio
is it the single deck model or the multi deck option/
photos work best, for all that.
if that is the only failure, (radio works)
then the cd is jammed, can be cause by many things.
broken CD
parts of previous cd broken parts inside jamming it
or its far worse.
it will need to be dismantled, to fix it.
unlike computers, there is no tiny hole there for paper clip to eject it , emerg. mode)
so repair on the old one, labor and parts would exceed cost of upgrade, why not go CD free, use memory stick, with your CDs ripped to MP3, files, and move on,....
the last CDs will be sold in walmart.
and the isle keeps shrinking and soon to be like VHS videos, a memory.

Jammed cd player - 2002 Honda Accord

The same thing happened to me. Supposedly you can't put burn cd in that radio. So I need to get it fix or get a new one. I took out the radio fuse out waited about a minute, then put it back on. Now it works just fine but the only problem is that I won't be able to change the CDs that r in it. I'm stuck with the same six until I could get it fix but for now ill deal with it.

Cd player seems to be jammed

Well if the cd player has a reset button push it and it might kick the cd out on it's own. But if it dont then try by removing the battery cable for 1 minute. When you power most electronics they go through a self diagnostic and might just eject the cd. If that dont work then there is only two other things you can do. 1 is to take a small pair of needle nosed pliers and CAREFULLY remove the cd. But this also takes the chance that you might hit something vital and trash the cd player! 2. Uninstall the cd player and remove the top And carefully push the cd out the same way it was put in. If you do get the cd out of the player then the first thing you should do is to put in a laser eye cleaning cd and clean the player. Then see if it comes out by itself. If it does not then it is time to buy a new cd player. KENWOOD cd players are one of the few that come with a reset button that will reset the deck and remove the cd automaticly. This is a very nice option. Good luck

CD changer will not accept CD's

I got the ERROR 3 on my Lexus RX330 2004 CD changer, and fixed this problem myself. My CD changer now works fine for more than one month after the repair, and hopefully will continue to work in the future )))) First, I opened top cover of changer ( about 8 screws ). Next step is most difficult - need to detach 4 tiny springs on top corners that hold metal top plate and keep them in the same place not allowing them to fall down (detach the spring, then hook the top with paper clip as to not let the bottom come detached and lose the spring inside). I used paper clips for holding the springs on the coners of the metal frame. Next need to take the metal plate out and then all plastic CD trays with CDs, the plastic trays may jam a little when being lifted out, but they will come out. Take all CDs and don't use them in the changer anymore. Seems the CD changer doesn't like CD-R's. So, use original CDs. Actually I an going to record new CD's using good blank media from good manufactures, will try to see whats gonna happen. So, take out all plastic CD trays keep them in order and facing the right way. After removing all CDs put all things back. Do everything very gently because all parts very precise and easy to break. The cd changer showed "Error 3" for the rest of the evening but then next day was fine and has been working fine since then. I think the computer had to be reset overnight to clear that error. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to PM me.
