You may have a fried fuse. Look in your owners manual to find out which fuse it is in the fuse box diagram. If that is the problem make sure to use the same amperage fuse to replace the burned one with. I fried fuse is usually a sign that you have a short somewhere. But they can also fry for other reasons such as excess moisture somewhere. Sometimes they just burn from age and fatigue. It may solve it to just replace the fuse, but if there really is a short, the new fuse will fry too.

Follow the procedure to replace tail lights in ur lexus.

  • Engage the parking brake and turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
  • Open the trunk to remove the trim cover and the carpeting. This will allow you to access the tail light assembly. The carpeting can be taken up by removing the two plastic screws on the trim cover.
  • Remove the four nuts at the rear of the tail light assembly. Set these aside for later use.
  • Slide the tail light assembly away from the Lexus. Remove the socket that contains the broken bulb by pulling it from the assembly. Unscrew the broken bulb by turning it counterclockwise.
  • Insert the new bulb into the socket by turning it clockwise. Insert the socket back into the tail light assembly. Insert the tail light assembly back into the Lexus. Screw the nuts back into the rear of the tail light assembly inside the trunk.
  • Cover the trunk with the carpeting and replace the trim cover. Close the trunk. Test your new Lexus tail light to ensure it is working.

Tail lights don't work. Fuse is goo and bulbs are

check for voltage at the fuse and at the light bullb socket.

If you have juice at the fuse and none at the bulb look for a short.

You could have a broken ground wire too. So try grounding the bulb with a test light.

    Good luck and be safe.
