How to change fan blower motor 2004 chev Impala

The blower motor is located under the Dash on the passenger side. Simply unplug it and unbolt the mounting bolts. The one closest to the firewall may give you a bit of a hard time as the angle is a bit limiting. Does the blower work on any speed? Usually the resistor block goes bad and the blower motor will not work on any speed but high. The resistor block is located next to the motor and it's held in place by two bolts. Good luck!

98 century heater blower motor resistor location

look under the passenger side of the dash. There will be a plastic trim panel that will need to be removed. Once its out of the way you will see the blower motor. The resistor will be just to the drivers side of the blower motor.

2005 Kia Sorento only blows hot and cold air on high. Is it a blower motor resistor and if it is where is it located?

If the blower moter only works on hi speed it is the blower motor resistor that is bad. The blower motor resistor is located under the passenger side of the dash next to the blower motor. It is not necessary to remove the blower motor to change the resistor.
