Sounds like the rear main oil seal on your motor is leaking. In order for it to be replaced, the transmission has to be removed. Not an easy task for the backyard mechanic.

1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Oil leaking from the flywheel. Is this the crankshaft oil seal? How dificult to replace. Any good websites with drawings for reference?

Very likely it's the rear seal. You will have to remove the transmission from the jeep in order to gain access to and change that seal.

Jeep grand cherokee 94,oil leak between engine and transmission, the fluid is from the motor oil, please tell me how to correct this...

remove gearbox from engine and then flywheel and then change crankshaft oil seal, not a job for the faint hearted. Could the oil be dripping down from the camshaft cover, this is more common and easier to sort

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Shifting Problems

Check the Trans fluid level with it running and at operating temperature. Jeep NAG1 transmissions are known to have the input electric seal leak trans fluid. Not an exspensive fix add Mopar ATF4 and then relace the guild seal.

1995 jeep grand cherokee transmission park to drive shift noise

Check transmission fluid level, then look at transmission linkage. Some are in a place where they can be bumped around and knocked out of place. Tweek the shifter a little on both sides of the resting position when you shift. If the noise goes away. It is probably linkage related. If you can sample the tranny fluid, check for burnt smell and or metal flakes. Aamco will check it free but dont let them sell you repairs as preventative measures. They will try.

I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, 5.2 liter engine. There is transmission fluid leaking out from around the radiator. Were are the transmission lines leading to and from the radiator located?

Check both connections to make sure they are tight. Look carefully to see if fluid is coming from the fitting or where the nipple comes out of the radiator...If leaking there it usually can be fixed by any decent radiator shop.

1994 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE-TRANSMISSION "SLIPS" ON TAKE OFF.

First of all make sure you are checking the fluid right. Some people do not know that in order to check transmission fluid the engine needs to be running and the temperature needs to be sort of warm althought you should be able to get a good Idea just by the engine running. In this instance you might have a governer valve that isn't properly working to shift the engine when hydraulic pressure reaches a certain PSI. I would suggest having it flushed and put in new fluid and filter. If this doesn't work the problem is more serious and might need some professional assistance.
