So you have a manual and you want to change the gear box oil right??? May i ask how many miles this car has on it?? You really hardly ever need to change gearbox oil. Check this oil by taking the plug out of you transmission. If this oil is clean and has a brand new look to it do not change it. The only time these oils really need to be completely changed is when the car has been in high water or the gear box has been rebuilt so for your peace of mind if you just have general wear on this car, you probably are just throwing money down a crawdad hole ha ha

Hello. What kind of gear oil use the front gear box of a passat 4motion 2006 ? It,s doineg a wear noise since they fix a leak from it And they chance the gear oil but i think its not the right one
there no automotive engines that share same oil with transmission on your gear box there should be two plugs one in about middle and one near bottom the bottom one is your drain and the top one is your fill
is there enough transmission fluid in auto box?
If not the oil pressure in the box will not be reaching correct pressure and the box will not know when to change gear. It all runs on oil pressure
hope that helps
