I dont think you can "clean it" other that taking the inlet hose off and spraying some carb cleaner at the blades to clean them. It may be a good idea to take off the turbo inlet oil line and make sure its clean, oil starvation is what kiils turbos. . I would recommend Mobil1 oil to be used in the engine.

BA wire colours for senser under throttle body beside vacuum mine was non toubo but I brought it with turbo motor being told to switch wires over

You should have done more research. Since you had a none turbo, most likely the ECM will not let you have optimal fuel mileage. Or may just die going down the road. Who ever told you this? have them come over and hook it up. Most newer cars, you have to swap engine for engine. If it's turbo, you have to get one, if not, you can't have one. Not like older cars where you can add a turbo or super charger then be on your way. Computers have to reprogrammed to accept either.

I bought a T/3 T4 T3 turbo charger 2.25" 4 bolt exhaust .48at turbo Charger 42ar oil cooled only for an 04 maxima and I'm wondering what accessories am I gonna need piping and intercooler wise and turbo...

Turbo manifold, blow off valve, waste gate, intercooler, turbo timer, piggyback or standalone ECU, most likely an all new exhaust system, new intake, filter. An oil cooler may be needed, as those turbo chargers are most likely cooled and lubricated by the oil in the engine, needing to be piped through the turbo itself.

I have 2002 Buick regal gs. I noticed a whining noise while driving. What could this be from, someone told me I may need to change super charger oil ? Please help .

this could be an alternator noise like the bearings.or it could be a bearing in the super charger.try changing the oil for the super charger and see if it helps especially if it hasn`t been changed.

Black smoke in the exhaust and in high rpm white on passat 1.9tdi

this case , you have to check turbo charger , when high RPM white smoke means lubricate oil goes to engine so give white smoke . on low rpm trubo close coming black smoke means no enough air gose to engine so this need to replace turbo . some type of turbo can be clean the wase gate ( which open with diafam beside turbo) make sure it's moving when accilerate. check vacum is ok . then clean wase gate > only some type have wings inside )if no replace turbo

Hi there, I got a Nissan Interstar Engine recently built, drove the vehicle for a day, and I have spotted a oil leak, I took it to a mechanic and he told me the rear main bearing is leaking oil, but now...

Hi, You may have done more damage than your mechanic says. The oil may have been very low to start. Bearings and valve cam needs oil. You have already burned the turbo. (lack of oil).
Good luck.

My 04 VW Jetta blew thick white smoke from tailpipe after freeway drive. No indicator lights came on, all oil leaked out (after smoke started)... is this engine or could it be just the turbos? Right...

A new turbo charger is about $340, but you can buy the bearings and seals and rebuilt if yourself for about $100

It is not hard, and it does not take long to do.

I normally do not bother with synthetic, but with a turbo charger, it might be worth it. What really seems to ruin turbo chargers the most is not letting them cool off before parking.
Once you turn off the engine, there is no longer any cooling, so the build up heat will burn up the oil and seals.
Run the engine for at least 5 minutes below turbo levels, before shutting down the engine.

How much oil to put in a 2007 eclipse gs coupe 4 cylinder

You didn't say turbo or not but put in four and check it with the stick. You did'nt say if your changing the filter. you didn't say if this is a freash build ture empty or just coming in for regular service? Oil and filter 4 1/2 no filter and not ( dumped ) 4 but put in 4 and chack it and follow the stick. the turbo can take 5 and the startup procedure is different. Di ale the spark or fuel system and cranks the motor till the oil light goes out. You spin that turbo dry it'll blow and here we go $1000. It'll do it once if you change the oil with the car hot and get it all done in a few minutes and start it right away. Don't wait, not on a turbo. the other engines are more likly tosurvive but the longer any engine runs pumping air instead of oil is'nt good. Change it quick with it ha\ot and start it back and check for leaks than check level with the stick and add till it shows full .. Never changed your own oil? Get a friend that has to be there with you mistakes can be very expensive. That car $4000. Sure change your own oil and take it to the recycleing center, and know that you did it right. The best oil cost the most and the most expensive ones from all makers are very good and maybe better than you need
