Use a volt meter or a test lite ,check for power at the bulb or on the wire to the bulb also check the ground wire to see if it supplys a ground circuit.Look for wires loose from the headlites ground circuit. If equiped it will be close by,A black wire with a screw to framework for a ground. If you have 4 hd lites make sure you dim and or brighten the lites while you look for problem. There may be a fuse for each side of the headlites right and left!
Hi sheikq, To answer ur question, U can find a headlite at ur dealer but the cost will be higher. Pepboys, autozone, Napa, etc. are shops that should carry headlites for most cars. If you have a problem finding one, go on the net an do a search at Google, say Headlite for UR car type then hit submit. Should be able to find something there or a place that you could call to find out they had the lite.
It sounds to me that if you checked all the fuses and they are fine that it could be the headlight switch needs to be replaced or very uncommon but possible that both low beam bulbs blew at the same time and need replacement.
You need to go to autozone parts store and have the battery and altanator tested with lights on and blinkers on to see if you have a low voltage problem both could cause this condtion.
try removing the whole light fixture and reinstalling it...that should do the trick just try to have it in the position it was in before removing so that you wouldn't have to adjust your light angel or at least make some minor adjustments
some times there is an aditional swich to get the light down look very well but if not these systems are very complicate they have a lot of relays i will recomend you to take it to an auto electrical facility
