I have a 2004 yukon that when I turn on the windshield wipers they will not shut off. After the car sits a while I can start it and they will shut off. Very frustrating

All you have to do is .... slighty bend the arm inward, and you should be fine...Not too much, then it will have too much pressure on the windshield, but just enough, where, when you turn your wipers on, with the washer fluid running, it seems fine... Goodluck
hi from uk re wiper blade you only have to swivel blade enough to access the press clip that holds the swivel mount of the blade then while pressing clip pull wiper blade down out of the wiper arm U type hook replacement is in reverse make sure you note the old blade fits so you fit new one same way ?
These are a tight fit...Spray a little penetrating lubricant onto it and let it sit for about 20 minutes. You will notice there are splines that match up from the drive unit to the base of the wiper arm...sometimes these can get a little corroded and becasue of the relative surface area it makes them a real pain to get off. You may need to just pry against it gently with a flat head scredriver after you spray on the lubricant. Pray at it from all different sides of the base so that it doesn't bind up and get crooked.
We had the same problem and sometimes they wouldn't turn off. The intermittent wipers were random. We replaced the wiper motor. Be sure to get the motor with two balls on the wiper shaft (one for each wiper arm). If you can't find it, you'll have to change the part out on the new motor. Keep the wiper arms in the same location on removal, or it will jam and you'll have to start over.
