1999 chevy blazer will not start. No spark!?!? No spark from the coil to ground.

Could be a bad coil, bad Ignition Control Module (what controls the ignition coil as commanded by the engine computer), or a bad crank position sensor, or cam position sensor. Or the wiring and circuits to all the ignition parts.
Often it is the crank sensor (CKP sensor)-The pcm must have this information from the crank sensor to determine spark timing. If no good signal from the crank sensor, there will be no spark.

HOW DO YOU INSTALL A CRANK POSITION SENSOR 1999 CHEVY ASTRO VAN 4.3 LTR MOTOR

The crank sensor is inside the distributor and may also be called an HEI pickup.
Disconnect wiring harness and remove the two tork head screws and lift out. Now would be a good time to replace the rotor & distributor cap if you haven't done so lately.
I hope this helps.

How to replace the crank sensor on a 1999 chevy s 10

2.2L engine it's located on the right side of the engine just below the coil pack.

there are three sensors on the right side, cam sensor which is higher than the other two. then there is the crank sensor right next to the knock sensor towards the bottom.
now the rest is easy. remove & replace.

4.3L engine it would have been by the harmonic balancer in the timing cover.

I have a 1999 intreped and sometimes it wont start after i drove it for a while, and it will cut off with out any warning while im driving

Check the fuel pump & pressure. The pressure should be 35 psi & shouldn't drop with the key off. If it does, replace the pump.
