There is a fuse for the windshield washer pump. It is located in the under the hood fuse box.The fuse is near the bottom marked WSW. Look in the manual for fuse box (under hood) I read that Chevy recommended repacing the 10 amp fuse with a 15amp. There are spare fuses in the bottom of the fuse box(labeled in the manual) and there is a 15 amp. I changed mine in 3 minutes and now it works. Hope I helped.

I have a 2007 chevy impala. I replaced the windshield washer pump and checked/replaced the fuse. I get a 12V spike to the pump when trying to wash the window and then no voltage. Is there a relay som

there is no relay.
- check if there is dirt in the water tank which might stuck the pump and blow the fuse.
- also check all cables to the windshield washer pump if they are damaged and cause a short somewhere.
- or the wiper switch in the dashboard might be faulty? http://www.vadengmpp.com/owners-manual/chevrolet/2007-Chevrolet-Impala.pdf

Where can I purchase fuse #45 for my chevrolet equinox lt 2007 in richmond, va

It sounds as if the windshield washer pump, located at the base of the windshield washer fluid reservoir, has lost it's seal. When this occurs, washer fluid seeps into the pump and shorts it out. I advise that you remove the pump to confirm this before replacing the fuse. A replacement wind washer pump and fuse can be found at your dealer, local auto parts store or the internet (Rockauto.com has always been a great source for quality parts at a very competitive price and I use them all the time). Hope this helps.

Is there a windshield washer relay fuse on a 2007 chevrolet equinox?

Check for voltage where the connector plugs into the pump. If you have power there when you press the "wash" button, the pump is probably bad. If you DO have power then check your wiring for breaks. Also, is there anything else that doesn't work in your car? (i.e. dome lights, glove box light...etc.) AND....recheck the fuse to make sure it is in snug and hasn't blown again.
Good Luck.

06 chevy impala hood light on and none of my intruments inside the car work

Hood light on ????? hood ajar light ! Could be the switch . But without testing this would be a guess . Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuit's ? Do you know anything about automotive electronic's ? BCM - body control modules ( computer ) The first diagnostic procedure would be to hook up a factory or a professional scanner an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's in the BCM .
Wiper/Washer System Components
The Wiper/Washer System consists of the following components:
• Windshield wiper/washer switch
• Body control module (BCM)
• Wiper PCB relay
• Wiper high PCB relay
• Windshield wiper motor
• Windshield washer fluid pump
• Windshield washer fluid level switch
• WPR fuse 25 A
• WSW fuse 10 A

Your best bet , take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop. Nothing you can do without knowledge an proper diagnostic equipment .

Windshield washer pump fpr a 2006 chevy impala is there a fuse that could be bad ?

Yes, you could check for a fuse burnt out, but generally if the windshield washer pump doesn't buzz or turn so you can hear it, it means that in this weather, it is frozen up or burnt out. Usually it's just frozen with summer formulatioin of windshield wiper fluid which freezes at 32 deg. F.

Try to warm up the car in a heated garage to see if the windshield wiper fluid becomes unfrozen.

And, try to flush out the old fluid when you get it the pump free of ice, and install -20 deg. F or better wiper fluid.

Good luck on this repair.

2006 chevy impala windshield wiper fluid will not work. It's not frozen, and the tank is full. Do I need a new pump, and if so where is the pump located?

I just fixed the wifes 2006 Impala, windshild washer. If you look at the manual, under the hood fuse panel, you will find two fused identified as windshild wiper. The one at the bottom is the washer pump. They even conviently provide a spare (10 amp) fuse just below it. swap out and ops check okay. Hope this helps.
