2004 Honda CRV 6CD player

Jammed head unit. loaded first newly burned cd and that was it. cant load more and cant eject the only one in it.

I can hear it. It just sits there and clunks.

I ejected one CD from the player and replaced it with a burnt CD and now I cannot eject or play. It has a very quick "Error" message that pops up.

I had a similar problem with one of my home made CDs in my 6 disc changer. When I got the error sign, I was able to see the edge of the disc sitting in the slot, but it wasn't ejecting.
One my first try, I tried to use two toothpicks (the flat type) sandwiched together to prevent marring the disc when pulling it out.
Didn't work, so I used long needle nosed pliers, wrapped some tissue around the ends and was able to grip and remove the disc.
I had a similar problem with home made CD's in my Ford Freestar/Windstar vans and was able to pluck them out the same way.
Good luck.

How do you remove cd's from a six in dash changer...it will not play or eject the cd's

hi,
It sounds like the CD rack or cartridge inside the head unit has jammed. The only way of getting them out is to remove the 2 Din head unit from the dash/console,due to each CD being lifted up into the eject position and ejected separately.
If you got the tools you can dismantle and remove them from the head unit yourself. Hope this helps, let me know ow you get on.

I have a 6cd in dash changer in my 2006 F-150. I

Disconnect the battery and re-connect it and it will reset the cd player and it should acknowledge the cd and you should be able to eject it. Badly scratched cd's will mess up the player as will paper labels on c.d.'s. Good luck

CD Player Problum

you can try pulling the fuses for the cd then replace them. as the cd is cycling on start up, hold the load and eject buttons, and then hit the unit, in hopes to release the jam.

Cd player not working

If it were locked it would ask for a code on the radio display, more likely the radio's CD changer is defective, they are very prone to failure.
