If you look on the fire wall under the hood there should be a code there or the lid to the fuse box will have a code on it(the one under the hood close to the fire wall pasg. side)

Code for stereo after battery changed

If you bought the car new, it should have come with a small credit card sized card with the radio code. If you bought it used, it may be in with the owners manual or other paperwork. If no avail, you will need to contact Honda with the VIN number to get the code.

Unhooked the battery on 2004 Honda civic vx , now radio dosent work. Need the radio code to reset.

Hi, check the service log book, the previous owner may have written the code there. The only other way to get the code is to take your car to the local Honda dealer. Hope this helps.

Honda civic 2004 check engine light is on can't get it to turn off with a hand held code reader. Reader says there are no codes in the hand held. but the check engine light stays on?

Futher diagnosis may be in order. If there truly is "no Codes" you need to find out why the computer is turning the light on. I would have the dealer or a shop that works on a lot of Honda's look at it.

Stereo error code

The code for the radio needs to be input. the radio must have been disconnected from the battery.
look for the code on a card in the glove box. if no card, then u have to pull the stereo out and get the serial # to the dealership.

Honda car stereo

I won a 2004 Honda Civic.
I had a bad battery and my car would not start. I had someone jump start it and it now has a new battery. The car runs fine but the stereo will not play am/fm or CD's. Regardless of what I do I get an "Error E code"

Please help.
