Try to wiggle the steering wheel as you turn the key, the wheel may have some force on the lock so turn wheel to the right and try to turn key then turn left and try the key again. if this doesnt work then the ignition is worn and you will need to wiggle the key to get it to start also try to spary a little wd40 in the ignition key hole and work the key inside the ignition.
Hi, the chances are the problem you are having is that the steering wheel is putting pressure on the steering lock and not allowing it to go free when you turn the key, all you need to do is put the key in ignition and then work the steering wheel left and right as if your turning corners it will be hard to turn but it will turn a little bit in both direction but it will be a bit stiff, so whilst you trying to turn it either way work the key as if you trying to unlock the lock keep turning the key backward and fowards whilst forcing the steering wheel in both directions and it will then unlock it.
you may find one of your front wheels are on the kerb so its causing the lock to have pressure on it so as hard as you can work the wheel left and right all the way as hard as you can whilst at the same time turning the key on and off it should then unlock and allow you to start the car
let me know how you get on or if it dont work
please rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks
