Wiring i have a 1987 nissan hardbody and i need some help. firstly i bought the truck for 300 dollars with a burnt wirng harness. i replaced the wirng harness and alternator twice , bought a new optima yellow top battery and the truck is still not charging. i have had all mechanics my way to look at it and they're stumped. ive also changed the interior to a 1995 hard body pickup and i wanted to know is there anyway that i could use that dash beig that the wiring behind the instrument panel is different from that of the 1995

Hi Randy,you have fusible links on your positive side of battery,check all wiring for burnt or swollen wires,I H have a 85 nissan,just replaced mine awile back,it's a dealer part,22.00,here's a guide to them.Here are mine.
There are many wires that do diffrent things, i would get a harness connetor, this connector will connect to van wiring and then plug into the new radio connector, this way theres no splicing of the wires, i will enclose a wirng diagram also that will show you what ever wire is for , good day.
if its fuel injected first check to see if you have a vacuum leak if no leaks are found replace your idle speed control sensor this is usually found on the throttlebody .(has a wire plug harness on it)
Replace the fuel filter and poor a can of Sea Foam motor treatment in a full tank of gas. Sea Foam can be picked up at any part store for $5 to $8 a can. If it still has a problem you may need to replace the spark plugs.
