Depending on if it is the seat bottom or the seat back as they are seperate systems if both dont work then you probably have a electrical problem with the module or the switch not the heaters them selves, if it is one of the heaters then you must remove the seat cushion and replace it or the seat back cushion the heaters are intergrated into the foam the seat cushion unbolts with two fifteen millimeter nuts just under the front of the seat and unclips from the rear as you pull up and forward the seat back cushion is much more involved and should be done by a pro

Is there a separate fuse for the passenger and Driver side accessories such as the seat warmer and the mirrors? Drivers side works, passenger side does not.

Depends on which model car you are talking about, some do most don't. The mirrors and seat warmers are more likely to be on separate fuses.

Drivers side heated seat does not work

I would imagine that if you only felt the extreme heat in two specific spots on the seat, the element may have burned out and you basically have an open curcuit. According to the wiring scematic, the elements in the back rest and the seat itself are connected so neither work now. I've tried removing the leather from my seats to figure out if I can just replace the elements, but the elements are molded into the foam in the seat. Your only solution may be to replace the entire seat or to buy a seat warmer. Most of theseheat warmers are rather cheaply made, though.

After it has been raining alot the driver side seat warmer will come on by itself

Has anyone worked on the driver's side door--maybe to do bodywork or to replace the window regulator? The plastic moisture barrier may be damaged or improperly reistalled allowing water to get into a connector or the switch for the seat heater.

2001 Audi A6 Seat overheated!

There should be plug for the heated seat most likley under it or on the drivers side of passenger seat. This should fix your problem, if it doesn't that means the short is in the dial in the dash. There should be a seperate fuse for each seat in the fuse box. If unplugging the seat doesn't help come back and i will figure out which fuse is the right one and where your fuse box is.

Chevy Silverado Seat Heater not working

The most likely cause is the seat heater elements, they either have excessive resistance or are open - id recommended replacing both driver side element - upper and lower
