Remove the PCM fuse for five minutes then replace it. Don't remove the battery cable first. It has to have power to it so it don't think there is a power loss.

The security alarm and engine immobilizer are functions of the Body Control Module (BCM) and the ECM. You can't just pull fuses. When the battery goes completely flat, or is disconnected, you just need to reset the Security System which is done via the Remote Fob.
I can only suggest: 1: first replace both remotes batteries.
2: disconect the battery in the vehicle and then reconnect:
3: reprogramme the remotes following the insructions in the manual.
2002 you step through the info screen and when it comes to perform service (usually for an oil change) you have to hold the reset button for at least 30 seconds before it resets.
"perform service" have your mechanic reset it for the amount of mileage you would like to perform your next service...such as an oil chg in 3000 miles...
There is no way for you or me to tell. In order to determine what service it needs you should go to the dealer and they will perform a diagnostics test. I think it is around $95. It could be something simple as a fuse or reset needed. It could possibly be under warranty and not cost you anything but the $95. I hope this helps
This is a oil change reminder. Nothing fancy about, when you get your oil change go into the menu and click reset counter and it will go off. If there was something wrong with your car the check engine light would come on.
Put your key in the on position hold down the reset button (i think it is the reset if not try the other ones) until you hear a beep. This resets the Perform Service so it won;t beep for another 3000.00 miles.
